Meet Our Agent of the Month for August!

_____________________________________
Congratulations Drew Barefoot! *****************************************************

(This isn't Drew, it's his best friend Jake.)

The Powell Barefoot Agency has a long history of providing quality service to their clients. In fact the agency has been around since 1895!

Donald T. Barefoot purchased the Agency in 1995, and it was renamed Powell Barefoot Agency, Inc.

Don began his insurance career in 1967 as a claims adjuster with United States Fidelity and Guaranty in Raleigh, NC. He moved to Reidsville in 1971 as an agent with Nichols & Stanley and purchased The Grady Gregory Agency in 1977 and the Pink M. Hooper Agency in 1982. Don is President of the Agency and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of insurance gained through forty-one years of insurance experience.

Paul Drew Barefoot, AAI, is the son of Donald T. Barefoot and was employed by the Agency in August 1996. He was promoted to Vice President in 1999 and has charge of all inside operations. Drew specializes in life, health, and long-term care insurance needs.

Insurance Services of America is proud to announce that Drew Barefoot is our agent of the month for August!

We have had the pleasure of working with Drew for almost 10 years now, and he is awesome! Drew is appointed with several of our niche products, which can all be found on his website www.powellbarefoot.com

Drew has an extensive portfolio, but it seems his plan of choice with ISA is the Amigo Short Term plan. He was one of our big winners in our recent Amigo Stimulus Bonus promotion. We provide Amigo quotes for him on a regular basis, and his clients can apply online from his personal web link, which gives Drew a little bit of free time to hang out with his buddy Jake.

If you’re ever in Raleigh, stop by and say “Hi” to Drew and Jake. Visit them online at www.powellbarefoot.com, or give ‘em a call at 336-349-7024. Congratulations to Drew, Jake, and the rest of the gang at the Powell Barefoot agency, looking forward to another 10 years of great service!

Buy Trip Insurance Separately From Your Trip Provider

Hey ISA BROKER!
Don't let the travel agent down the street take away your business!

All Summer I have been reading articles about travel plans being ruined because someone purchased the wrong kind of trip protection. Several travel groups found themselves out of luck when their tour provider went out of business. Others had purchased their insurance through the airline, only to find the airline had suddenly gone bankrupt. The trip insurance purchased through them was worthless, and they all lost thousands of dollars.

Check out this article I just read on Clark Howard's web page:

Buy Trip insurance separately from your trip provider Trip insurance policies should always be purchased when you are taking a cruise, a tour or traveling on a trip that requires pre-payment of thousands of dollars.

Such policies are designed to protect consumers by giving them refunds in the event of illness to the traveler or an immediate family member. They also provide a refund in the case of company, tour operator or airline default.

Consumers should always purchase a policy independent of the cruise, tour or vacation planner. Never purchase the trip protection plan from the trip organizer. Those types of policies are designed to protect only the company and not the consumer!

At Insurance Services of America, we know that you should buy your travel insurance separately from your trip provider. Otherwise, if your trip provider goes belly up, your Trip insurance does too! The Round Trip plan from Insurance Services of America is specifically designed to protect your client's financial investment and cover them against default by the airline, cruise line, tour group etc. There is even an optional 'Cancel for Any Reason' benefit! In addition to protecting your client's vacation plans, there is coverage for lost baggage and personal effects, and emergency medical expenses including repatriation.

So do what the experts suggest and give us a call. We'll get you set up to help your clients get comprehensive coverage and still leave them with plenty of spending money to bring you back a souvenir!
