Trying to schedule a doctor's appointment when you're uninsured...

In our trying economy, with gas prices on the rise and businesses going bankrupt, it's no wonder a startling number of people are forced to go without health insurance.

Most folks tell themselves that they don't need health insurance, because they think they can't afford it. The sad fact is, if you get sick or injured, you can't afford NOT to have it. The other day, I was scheduling an appointment with my doctor, and the first thing they asked was for my insurance info. I gave them the name of the insurance company, but told them I didn't have my policy number at the time.

They told me to call back when I had the number.

They wouldn't even schedule the appointment unless I had proof of insurance.

Thank Goodness for the Amigo Short Term Plan. The Amigo plan is great for people who are between jobs, recently graduated from college, waiting for the open enrollment period on their job's group plan, or simply cannot afford a permanent medical plan.

How's this for a deal: the
Amigo Short Term Plan has a $50 Urgent Care benefit which is not subject to the deductible. That means you can save money by choosing a high deductible plan, but still only pay $50 to visit an Urgent Care facility.

The Amigo Short Term Plan is also available in Spanish, and no proof of citizenship is required to obtain coverage.

Obtaining this plan is quick, convenient, and affordable. You can apply online for the
Amigo Short Term Plan, and print out your policy and ID cards INSTANTLY. Or, if you prefer to speak to an agent, give the friendly folks at Insurance Services of America a call at 800-647-4589

The
Amigo Short Term Plan; Peace of mind you can afford!
